Mechanic’s Liens

PURPOSE: To place an encumbrance (lien) on property where work was performed and completed, but payment for these services has not been made.

What it Means: ABC Const has claimed a $12,234 mech’s lien against John Q Public, owner on real property at 123 Any Street Bakersfield.

Modify Trust Deeds

PURPOSE: To modify or change information on the original trust deed
What We Say: John Q Public, trustor and ABC Bank, benef modify T D of Nov 1, 1989 on 123 Main St Bak to change prop desc to read: 145 Main St Bak
What We Mean: John Q Public, borrower and ABC Bank, lender modify trust deed of November 1, 1989 (original recording date) on the property at 123 Main St Bak to substitute 145 Main St Bak for the previously named property.

What We Mean: A Parcel Map has been recorded as Parcel Map 1234 in Parcel Map Book 45, page 12 for a portion of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 1, Township 23, Range 24 was divided into 3 parcels.

Partnerships

PURPOSE: To give notice that a partnership has been established

Record of Survey

PURPOSE: To establish boundaries and define locations on a Record of Survey Map

What We Mean: A record of survey was recorded in Record of Survey Book 1 at page 12 for a portion of the Southeast 1/2 of Section 1, Township 23, Range 24.

Release Attachments

PURPOSE: To release a previously recorded Writ of Attachment

Release-UCC

PURPOSE: To release all or a portion of the real and/or personal property used as collateral to secure the financing statement
